Visual Art & Photography
Raw emotion. Unfiltered identity. Work that refuses to look away.
About the Artist
I create work born from truth — portraits, street photography, and mixed-media art that center Latina identity, resilience, and the beauty of things people try to silence.
My camera and my canvas are both acts of resistance. I don't soften edges. I don't ask permission. I make work that holds space for the complex, the fierce, and the deeply human.
Based in Montréal, Québec, Canada, available worldwide for editorial, portrait, and commission work.

Work With Me
Every project is personal. Whether you want a custom artwork or a shoot that captures something real — I bring intention, edge, and care to everything I create.
Original photo, mixed-media or digital works made just for you. Portraits, concept pieces, and more — built around your vision and my voice.
I shoot people as they are — bold, complex, and alive. Ideal for creatives, artists, brands, and anyone tired of looking like stock photography.
For brands, musicians, and creatives who need imagery with a point of view. Campaign shoots, press photos, album art, and lookbooks that actually look like something.
Walls, businesses, events, and public spaces. I bring my visual language to large-format work that makes people stop and feel something.
Not sure what you need? That's okay. Reach out through the contact form with your idea — even a rough one. We'll figure out the right approach together. I reply within 48 hours.
Curriculum Vitae
I am AngryLatina, a Venezuelan-Canadian visual artist and fine art photographer based in Montréal. My work explores the surreal and the intimate, often through black-and-white film photography, self-portraiture, and handmade interventions like masks and collages. Drawing inspiration from pre-Columbian Venezuelan artifacts, Catholic iconography, and the mundane rituals of womanhood, my practice investigates the emotional residue of trauma, femininity, and displacement.
After a three-year hiatus, I have returned to my practice with renewed clarity and commitment. Working primarily with analog formats — including large-format and medium-format film — I embrace slowness, imperfection, and process as integral parts of both healing and image-making.
As an emerging artist reconnecting with the creative world, I am also committed to building an artistic community — especially among Latino and women-identifying artists navigating diasporic identity. My goal is to continue creating work that challenges historical narratives while grounding itself in personal and lived experience.
